Like many of you, we as an All West family take some time at the end of each year to look back and realize how much we have to be grateful for.  The year 2017 was a big year for us, with some family members retiring, others reaching milestones in their careers, and still others joining the team from throughout the U.S.  We’ve introduced new ways for customers to evaluate and improve the efficiencies of their dairies through genetic auditing and new(er) traits like Dairy Wellness Profit dollars.

We’ve seen a tremendous increase in our #neverstoplearning philosophy, with many All West members enrolling in classes and specialized training programs like AllWest 101 and ProTECH.  We’ve even seen a great number of salesmen and technicians take on speaking engagements, talking about their knowledge and experience with younger members of the team.  We’ve had people from Select Sires join us on the west coast to talk with you and hear your stories, like the legendary Charlie Will, Lyle Kruse and Kevin Jorgensen.  We celebrated the influential career of our own Bill Genasci.  We welcomed some great new faces from the Accelerated Genetics family, several new members of the All West Board, a new intern, and definitely some new babies that will be the next generation of All West one day!  We’ve also felt sorrow in the passing of close friends and family members this year, and felt the frustration of a constantly changing ‘state of the dairy industry’.

It’s true we’ve had a big year, and as we approach the final weeks of 2017, we’re looking forward to a new year with new possibilities.  We are grateful for your business and your belief in All West, but mostly we’re thankful for your friendship.  This great industry still operates heavily on the belief that you do business with people you like….and we like the bulls, but we really like our member/owners.  Please watch this short video that reflects our gratitude for all of you.  May you and your families have a most blessed holiday season!
