Geneva McCall, Manager of Technician Development and Support, for All West/Select Sires

A new year can mean many things for an A.I. cooperative including new goals, new sires, new technology, new services, and new success stories. Although we plan to offer all of those exciting new things throughout the year, we’re also kicking off 2019 with a new addition to the All West family!

Geneva McCall officially joined the All West Family on January 1, 2019 as the All West/Select Sires Manager of Technician Development and Support. In her new, unique role at All West/Select Sires, Geneva will support California’s large technician team by scheduling relief technician work, assisting full-time technicians in developing their breeding routes, coordinating and facilitating the All West ProTECH training program, and more. “It has been our goal for quite a long time to provide more support to our technician-focused staff and coordinate the training and development of technicians. Geneva, who has tremendous industry experience, will be leading this long overdue and crucial support for All West,” announced All West/Select Sires General Manager Jim Wells.

All West California Director of Sales, Greg Collins, is excited to welcome Geneva to the family as well, in hopes that she will assist our technician team in maintaining industry leading service. “Our technician team in California alone is made up of roughly 50 individuals. Having someone whose primary role is to implement our technician training programs, as well as coordinate and support them will be beneficial not only to our technicians and All West as a cooperative, but most importantly, to our customers.”

Born and raised in Galt, CA where she still resides today, Geneva is no stranger to All West territory and the A.I. industry. While a senior at Fresno State University, majoring in Animal Science student at Fresno State University, she interned for Landmark Genetics, where she was tasked with traveling throughout California to evaluate cows and work with young sire herds. That was when she decided she wanted to join the A.I. industry and has worked over 26 years in the business since!

Geneva’s experience and connections will certainly benefit the All West team. She has held numerous positions in the industry including evaluator, young sire specialist, genetic program coordinator, and sales manager. In this new role, Geneva is most excited for getting to know our technician team and supporting them in ways that will make them, and the herds they service, more efficient and successful.

Geneva’s friendly character, positive attitude and ambitious work ethic have already allowed her to immerse herself in the culture of All West. She participated in our new employee orientation program, All West Academy, this month where she was given the opportunity to travel to central California and Washington to meet our staff and learn about our products, programs and services. Since then, Geneva has been traveling California to meet our technician staff and begin discovering ways she can best support them. In her spare time, Geneva enjoys being with her friends and volunteering at local charities.

We are thankful to have a new team member who is just as excited about the new year as we are. With Geneva’s help, we can look forward not only to excellent support for our technician team in 2019, but the best technician service for our customers in the years to come! Welcome to the All West Family, Geneva!
