He was living out his retirement years at his birthplace and will be remembered in the history of Select Sires as one of the most influential beef bulls ever to wear a 7-code. Predestined served his time as an AI sire well–from his arrival in 2001 all the way to 2012 when he got to ‘go home’, he was a favorite at Select Sires. A steady producer of high-quality semen, Predestined became the standard for high conception that we compare other beef bulls against. The high beef bull for semen sales at Select Sires for a run of 5 years in a row, Predestined was as sound at 14 as he was as a calf. Used for years as a reference sire in our Young Sire Program, Predestined made it easy to ‘test against the best.’
