I started out breeding cows and moved my way into the current salesman position that I have today.”

“A normal day for me includes filling nitrogen tanks, visiting with customers about their genetic needs and their reproductive needs, discussing their goals and the future of their operation, getting on computers, looking at on farm records, analyzing the data that they have, and helping out my teammates with SMS and SRS. There’s never a shortage of items to do within a given day.”

  1. What is your favorite part of your job?

“I enjoy working in the dairy industry because it’s a very close-knit community. You get to know everyone and their families. You get to be a part of their daily lives and you get to help them succeed in their business. A lot of these farms that I work with are multigenerational and you get to see the progression of the farm throughout the years. I enjoy working with the people of All West/Select Sires. We’ve got a great team up here as well as throughout the company. Everyone seems to know your name and you get to know them personally. It’s a whole lot of fun to go to work each day. I love what I do and I love who I get to work with.”
