Amber La Salle has officially joined the All West Family as of Monday, July 1, 2018.
Amber served as our 2017 Accelerated Genetics / All West Summer Intern (Watch).
Since then, Amber has graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dairy Science, worked at the Cal Poly Dairy, competed on the dairy cattle judging team, and became a Dairy Challenge National Champion. She also continued to perform genetic audits for our customers remotely while finishing her senior year of college.
As our Dairy Genetic and Program Specialist, Amber will be spending a great deal of her time with the Select Reproductive Services program, performing genetic audits and using our new Optimal Genetic Pathways service to maximize profits in the next generations of our customer’s herds. She’ll also be involved with the Select Mating Services program and be tasked with some prospect sales calls. Her “can do” attitude will be an asset in many different avenues of All West. “I’m excited to join the All West team for a variety of reasons. The All West team is built up by very talented, passionate, and amiable individuals. The products and services that Select Sires offers is something that everyone can get behind. An amalgamation of these attributes make up an amazing cooperative that anyone would be honored to work for.”
