Mike Moretti is our newly elected All West/Select Sires District 21 Delegate. Mike has been a dairy producer at Moretti Family Dairy in Tomales, CA since 1991 and on April 1st, his family will celebrate the 30thanniversary of their farm. In 2011, the farm was recognized as Sonoma County’s “Dairy of the Year” and the following year, they began converting the herd to the Jersey breed and started the transition to become certified organic.
Today, the family milks a herd of 300 Jerseys and Jersey Cross cows, as well as a few purebred Holsteins. They ship their milk to Clover Sonoma where they have been producers since 1999. Mike focuses on traits including Milk, Protein, Fat, Feet and Legs, and Type when selecting bulls from All West/Select Sires.

Mike has been married to his high school sweetheart, Monique, for 29 years. They have two children; a daughter Amanda (27) who works for American AgCredit and a son Danny (24) who works for the City of Petaluma Water Service and Utility. When Mike finds time, he enjoys hunting, barbequing, and spending time with his family and friends.
