We predicted the December class would be amazing and it did not disappoint us. The biggest problem we had proof day was to figure out how to limit the class to 14 new Holstein grads. That’s the kind of problem we like to deal with every sire summary. PLANET sons dominated the industry this run, which brought lots of high production and great Calving Ease bulls, along with many high GTPI sires. Select has the four highest new grads in the industry to make the Holstein’s Top 100 TPI list in 7HO10849 SHAMROCK, 7HO10679 KID, 7HO10690 PLAN and 7HO10700 MAUSER. Ten new graduates made the Top 100 TPI list.
