After several years of social distancing due the global pandemic, our team was overjoyed to reunite with fellow federation team members from around the world at the Select Sires Inc. National Sales Conference in Columbus, Ohio from September 13-15, 2022.
This year’s conference theme “What If?” encouraged our Trusted Advisors to dream big and think outside the box to learn and discover new ways to better serve our valued member-owners. The experience also allowed our team to reconnect with colleagues, network with fellow industry members, and most importantly, learn about new programs and products, and better ways to achieve success.
The Sales Conference program included inspiring keynote speakers, industry experts and partners, successful customers, and fellow team members, sharing their knowledge on a variety of topics. There was also a variety of workshops for each attendee to learn more about the topics that interested them the most. The All West Family was able to have our own meeting prior to the start of Sales Conference with special guests from Agrarian Solutions, Zoetis, and CowManager.
Our own Dairy Program Specialist, Carly Olufs, was asked to speak on a panel titled “Becoming the Sales Representative of the Future”. Lead by Select Sires Inc.’s legendary Joel Mergler, Carly and fellow sales representatives Justin Edwards (Premier Select Sires) and Rex Reinholt (CentralStar Cooperative) shared their knowledge and experiences with the federation attendees.
After several years of not gathering together, the Sales Conference had many team members to celebrate for their achievements! Super Achiever and President’s Club honorees for the years 2020, 2021 and 2022 were on display all week at the conference venue. Our 2022 honorees will be formally recognized at our upcoming All West Holiday Gatherings.

In 2017, Select Sires Inc. honored more than 400 employees with a brick paver entrance to the Kellgren Heritage Center at the headquarters facility in Plain City, Ohio. The bricks were engraved with employee names to recognize individuals with at least 30 years of service to the member cooperative, as well as the year they reached this milestone. In the past few years, even more team members have been added!
All West is proud to have many past and current employees represented on this display, including Sales Representative Marvin Correia and (retired) Eastern Washington District Manager Bill Van de Graaf, most recently added last year in 2021!
With our sires residing across the country in Ohio, it’s not often that the All West team gets to witness these incredible animals in person, but when we do it is a true honor! These are just a few of the sires who were on display at the 2022 Select Sires Inc. Sales Conference Bull Parade.
