Social distancing isn’t really our thing… in fact, we thrive off of working with you, our member-owners to provide the programs, products and services your dairy and ranch needs! However, in this health crisis, All West/Select Sires is taking serious precautions to protect against the spread of this virus and our thoughts are with all those affected.
As you may be aware, the residents of several states have been ordered to stay at home amid the Coronavirus outbreak. Please know, this order exempts workers in 16 federal critical infrastructure sectors, including food and agriculture! Because All West is in this industry category, we will continue to operate while practicing social distancing.
What are we doing to help flatten the curve?
• Office employees who have the capabilities to work from home are doing so. All are still working normal business hours and can be contacted via email, phone, or video conference.
• Our warehouse crews are still working hard to fill your semen orders and our representatives and technicians are still getting the semen to your herds.
• All West Representatives will visit your dairy only when absolutely necessary at this time. They will continue to practice social distancing and the best hygiene at your facilities.
• Of course, all team members must practice good hygiene at all times and are required to STAY HOME if they are feeling ill.
While at this time we have much uncertainty about COVID-19, one thing is for sure: The health and safety of our customers and employees is our primary focus!
We commend our member-owners for their dedication and compassion during these challenging times. All West is taking all measures possible to keep you safe while we continue to serve your needs.

To our All West/Select Sires cooperative members,
While at this time we have much uncertainty about COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we want you to know that the health & safety of our customers and employees is our primary focus.
We thank you for your commitment to your cooperative. We value the trust you have placed in working with us and want to update you on the measures we are taking to ensure the continuity of our service to you. We have also communicated to our valued employees with similar messaging.
Maintaining a Safe & Healthy Work Environment
The health and safety of our employees and customers is our highest priority and we are doing our part to help contain the spread of the virus. We will continue to seek guidance from both the California Department of Health and the Washington Department of Health during this time.
A.I. Service Technicians, Account Managers and Support Teams are continuing to conduct farm visits to deliver semen and products, breed cows, and provide you our value-added services. Our office also remains open at this time. We must take precautions to keep employees, and customer’s families and farm teams, safe. Actions we will adhere to include:
· If sick, stay home and follow self-isolation protocols until fully recovered.
· Do not linger in common areas on farms
· If farm visits are not needed, use phones and email as a preference to conduct business.
· Practice good hygiene with regular hand washing and covering your mouth/nose if you cough/sneeze.
· Avoid high-touch interactions like handshakes and maintain safe distances during conversation (6 feet)
To further prevent disease transmission, any upcoming group meetings will be canceled or postponed.
Delivery Options
To help prevent disease transmission, feel free to communicate with your representative regarding semen and product needs prior to their visit and let them know what your preferred approach is for delivery. Our team will be seeking guidance from you if anything is to be adjusted.
