“After completing my degree in Animal Science at Fresno State, I started working with a friend who was a route breeder in Bakersfield. Soon I accepted a relief breeding position and progressed to working my own route full-time.”

Describe a typical day in your life on the job.
“Heat detection, tail chalking, breeding, and record keeping make up the majority of a typical day on the job. I also get to work closely with some of the best dairymen, managers, veterinarians, and consultants in the industry.”

What do you enjoy doing when you are not at work?
“My wife and I have seven kids who keep life exciting after work. I enjoying helping them with their show animals and coaching their hockey teams.”
