The Jersey Watch List

In the December issue of DiamondCuts, we talked about some Holstein bulls that sire analyst Kevin Jorgensen advised us to consider when picking bulls to add to the breeding program. We’re continuing that discussion this month with All West’s Brad Barham, California Sales Manager & Jersey Sire Specialist.  Let’s see who he has on his personal watch list for the Jersey breed!

I’ll be honest, I had a hard time narrowing down my list of Jersey favorites following the December proof run, so I’m going to mention a pretty extensive list that’s sorted by Proven, Genomic Production Young Sires and Customer Satisfaction Young Sires.  Several of the bulls I talk about are bred right here in All West Territory and/or a product of the Jerseyland Sires program.
