December 2021 New Graduate Comments

The December sire summaries added great depth to the Select Sires, Accelerated Genetics and GenerVations lineups with a total of 12 new Holstein graduates. This elite group is sired by seven different sire fathers with 11 likely ranking among the industry’s top-100 GTPI® sires. Led by 7HO14320 ALPHABET, a top-5 TPI graduate, this class is a testament to the Select Sires breeding philosophy. We continue to create sires for every market and deliver daughter-proven results for complete, trouble-free cows to enhance genetic success for our farmer-owners. Select Sires’ Herd Health Profit Dollars (HHP$) has been designed to achieve these health and wellness goals genetically and our sires are performing well on this new, innovative index. Additionally, seven of the new graduates have sons in our program – adding confidence for the future as well.

For our high-components breeds, we added a new Ayrshire proven graduate, three Brown Swiss graduates and four newly proven Jersey sires. Each will rank in the top tier of their respective breed.
