World Wide Sires (WWS) is happy to announce that Tyler Boyd has joined World Wide Sires as Marketing Specialist. In this role, Tyler will assist the WWS Marketing Department, providing market research, promotions, and customer service.

Tyler grew up on the family dairy farm, Boyd-Lee Jerseys in Parrottsville, Tennessee, where he was actively involved in the herd’s breeding and marketing program. Tyler has served on several committees with the American Jersey Cattle Association and was a member of the inaugural class of the Jersey Youth Academy. Tyler is the 2009 winner of the National Jersey Youth Achievement contest, the highest award available for youth who own Jersey cattle.

He is active with the American Dairy Science Association – Student Affiliate Division (ADSA-SAD) and currently serves as the 3rd Vice President of the National Board. Recently, Tyler placed 1st in the National Undergraduate Paper Contest of the ADSA-SAD in the Dairy Production Division.

Tyler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Dairy Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University.  He served as area representative and attorney general for the Vanderbilt Student Government. While at Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University, Tyler participated on the Dairy Challenge and Dairy Cattle Judging Teams.
