Former All West/Select Sires Relief Technician Chelsey Naito has transitioned into the role of full-time Technician and is now servicing customer’s herds in the Tillamook, Oregon area. Her first day in this new role was January 21, 2022.
Chelsey was born and raised in Hawaii. She moved to Oregon to further her education at Oregon State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences with a Pre-Veterinary focus. While attending OSU, Chelsey took an artificial insemination course and worked as the student herdsman of the university dairy, where she put her A.I. skills to the test! She went on to work at the Oregon Health and Science University National Primate Center and breed cattle for several producers within the Benton County area.
She became a Relief Technician for All West/Select Sires in June of 2020 after being recommended by Independent Beef Sales Representative, Adrienne Lulay. Chelsey quickly became a favorite among our customers, so naturally when there was a need for a new full-time technician in the Tillamook area, the position was offered to her.
“Chelsey is exceptionally reliable and extremely detail-oriented,” said All West Eastern Washington Technician Supervisor Pat Wolf. “She has a great reputation with our customers in Tillamook and she brings wonderful energy and enthusiasm to her job and our team.”
We are thankful that Chelsey was up for the task at hand and are very confident that she will serve our Oregon dairy and beef producers well!
When she’s not working, Chelsey loves to take her dogs on hikes and to the river, as well as spend time with friends and family. Best wishes to Chelsey as she embarks on this new adventure!
